I scheduled my trip to Morgantown for the purpose of attending the annual Buckwheat Festival at the end of September. I had not seen the parade since I was a little boy. We attended on the Friday of the festival.
We first ate at the Kingwood Fire Department and it was delicious! All proceeds go to the Fire dept. Then we walked through it and finally ended up watching a man cut a eagle out of a log.
Not only was the festival fun, the beautiful town of Kingwood is worth a visit sometime just for it's self. I will highly recommend this event to everyone.
Then sat on the sidewalk and watched the parade which was fun!
